Description

The print positives: rediscovering and using our print collection project will include study sessions and research assistance from the printmakers to enable museum staff to develop an exhibition of prints from the permanent collection. The museum's assistant curator will work with small groups of experienced printmakers to examine prints for condition issues, create high-resolution images of the entire print collection, and identify selected prints for further research. The project will also include the creation of art education programs in collaboration with the dayton printmakers, and the enhancement of collections records for posting to ohiolink's digital resource commons, providing access to artists, scholars, and others in the museum field.
