Description

As the agency reported it.

Information about local veterans is currently on display at the museum in plastic binders containing images and biographies alongside a name plaque. Updating this display to make IT more engaging was identified as a top priority in the museum's recent strategic plan. The museum will contract with an imaging firm to digitize materials. Staff will purchase a large touchscreen monitor and computer and contract with a multi-media designer to create and install customized software for the display and the museum's website. The results of this project will be a physical and virtual resource that honors local veterans and enables visitors and the public to learn about military service and global conflict from the perspective of those who served.
