Description

As the agency reported it.

Diaspora vibe cultural arts incubator (dvcai) will transition the public programming series, caribbean crossroads teas, to a virtual platform to connect geographically divided communities where diasporic cultural engagement and representation is limited while encouraging new, young, and diverse participants to think of themselves as patrons of contemporary art. Project activities include purchasing equipment, improving dvcai?s website to increase its online presence, and hiring paid interns to support adapting and presenting the programs on a new virtual platform. This project will diversify digital content available about and from caribbean, latinx, and afro-diasporic artists while continuing to serve artists, community, scholars, and researchers.
