PCSS-SUD Treatment is a national training and technical assistance program designed to strengthen healthcare and counseling professionals' capacity to deliver evidence-based substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery services across the United States. The program will provide universal, targeted, and intensive training and technical assistance through a coordinated national platform offering live and on-demand education, ECHO sessions, podcasts, microlearning videos, implementation academies, learning communities, mentoring, consultation, office hours, and digital resources. Over the three-year performance period, PCSS-SUD Treatment will deliver universal training and technical assistance to at least 115,000 healthcare and counseling professionals, targeted assistance to at least 20,000 professionals, and intensive assistance to at least 500 professionals. The program will serve professionals working with youth and adolescents, adults, rural communities, individuals with co-occurring conditions, veterans, service members and their families, and justice-involved populations. The program will emphasize adoption of evidence-based and integrated practices, including appropriate use of FDA-approved medications for substance use disorders. Performance of work occurs in North Bethesda, Maryland, with a period of performance from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2029.
