The model promotes safety, engagement, empowerment, resilience, behavioral health recovery, and healthy development through trauma-informed, strengths-based, and peer-supported services. Through training, technical assistance, organizational assessment, implementation support, and resource development, CAYTICS will strengthen workforce capacity, organizational readiness, leadership supports, and cross-system collaboration to improve services and outcomes for this population. Initial implementation will focus on geographic areas in Illinois, California, and partner sites in the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast, with dissemination and capacity-building activities supporting nationwide adoption. The center will target capacity-building efforts toward providers, supervisors, organizational leaders, and youth leaders across child welfare, behavioral health, juvenile justice, and related youth-serving settings. The period of performance runs from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2031. Work is performed in Chicago, Illinois.
