The program, housed within UCI Psychiatry's IEDAPT first-episode psychosis clinic, integrates outreach, evidence-based screening and diagnostic assessment, modular psychotherapy, psychiatric care, supported education and employment, peer and family support, and individualized crisis planning, with warm handoffs to first-episode psychosis care. The initiative targets prevention or delay of psychosis onset and restoration of school, work, and social functioning. UCI will serve approximately 25 youth in year one, 35 in year two, 45 in year three, and 50 in year four, supported by an estimated 500–600 clinical high risk screenings and 25–35 diagnostic assessments annually. The four-year project runs through September 29, 2030, and serves Orange County (population 3.17 million), a large urban and suburban region including over 500,000 youth and young adults ages 10–34. Performance occurs in Orange, California.
