The Department of Defense Basic Scientific Research program (CFDA 12.431) has awarded a $600,000 Project Grant to the University of Missouri System to conduct "DEPSCOR-RC FY23-THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS OF GAS-PHASE MOLECULAR POLARITONS" research. The grant, with a performance period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027, will support foundational and applied research to advance scientific understanding and develop innovative capabilities with potential military applications in areas such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and defense technologies.
