Description
The project would include removing and upgrading two fish passage barriers to accommodate aquatic organism passage. Additionally stream habitat work is planned to complete large wood addition to a 1.8 mile section of the north fork of bens creek and tributaries above north fork reservoir. This project will address concerns identified in the 2014 north fork of bens creek coldwater conservation plan. The proposed stream habitat practices will not only benefit native fish and aquatic invertebrates but aid in groundwater recharge, sediment retention and flood control.
