Advanced Hcmos Systems LLC was awarded a $398,258 project grant from the Department of Energy Office of Science on June 27, 2022 to support development of nanosecond burst-mode HCMOS readout integrated circuits (ROICs) for high repetition-rate heterodyne detection laser polarimeter experiments. The Office of Science Financial Assistance Program (CFDA 81.049) aims to deliver scientific discoveries and tools to transform understanding of nature and advance U.S. energy and economic security. This award will fund Advanced Hcmos Systems' work to produce ROICs capable of nanosecond burst-mode operation, supporting experiments that use heterodyne detection laser polarimetry at high laser pulse repetition rates. The place of performance for this work is Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico.
