This federal Project Grant award of $2,910,958.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) was provided to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) to support a range of homeless services and housing solutions in the Los Angeles area. As the lead agency for the Los Angeles Continuum of Care (CoC), LAHSA will utilize these funds to coordinate federal, state, county, and city resources to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing trauma and promoting self-sufficiency. The award will enable LAHSA to provide permanent housing, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and supportive services such as case management, mental health treatment, and job training. LAHSA operates both as a direct service provider and a pass-through entity, distributing sub-grants to local nonprofit homeless services providers and government agencies to deliver these critical interventions across the greater Los Angeles region.
