The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded a $2,202,466.00 Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) project grant to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) to address homelessness in the Los Angeles area. The grant funds will support LAHSA's comprehensive strategy to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing trauma and promoting self-sufficiency. This includes providing a range of services such as permanent housing, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and supportive services like case management, mental health treatment, and job training. As the lead agency for the Los Angeles Continuum of Care, LAHSA will coordinate federal, state, county, and city resources to implement these homeless services and housing solutions across the greater Los Angeles region.
