The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded a $1,177,750 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program grant (CFDA 14.267) to the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), also known as Hacla, to provide a range of services addressing homelessness in the Los Angeles area. This one-year grant, effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, will enable HACLA to deliver permanent housing, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, homelessness prevention, and supportive services such as case management, mental health treatment, substance abuse support, and job training. As a public housing agency, HACLA collaborates extensively with nonprofit providers, public health agencies, universities, and local government entities to implement community-wide strategies addressing housing insecurity in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
