The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded a $236,880 Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) project grant to the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. The grant will support HACLA's delivery of comprehensive housing and supportive services to address homelessness in the Los Angeles area. Eligible activities under the Continuum of Care Program include permanent housing, transitional housing, homelessness prevention, and wraparound services such as case management, mental health treatment, and job training. As a critical public housing agency, HACLA collaborates extensively with nonprofit providers, public health agencies, and local government entities to implement community-wide strategies that promote long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency for low-income residents.
