The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded a $384,426 Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) project grant to the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. The Continuum of Care Program provides funding to nonprofit organizations, states, and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma of homelessness.
Through this award, HACLA will deliver a comprehensive range of housing and supportive services, including permanent housing, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, homelessness prevention, and critical supportive services such as case management, mental health treatment, substance abuse support, and job training. As a critical public housing agency serving the Los Angeles metropolitan area, HACLA will leverage this grant funding to address housing insecurity and promote long-term stability for low-income residents.
