Description

At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to expand economic opportunity in brazil. Tabôa fortalecimento comunitário (tabôa) works with two major sustainable agriculture networks in brazil to increase the income of members, including indigenous people and afro-brazilians, through training, technical assistance, and micro loans. Tabôa is supporting these networks to increase their agricultural productivity, upgrade agro-processing facilities, expand organic certifications, develop value-added products, improve marketing circuits, and install a sales outlet in the city of SÃO paulo. Tabôa's activities promote smallholder agriculture and ensure meaningful opportunities for communities to thrive.
