The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) received a $325,000 Project Grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) under the Appalachian Research, Technical Assistance, and Demonstration Projects program (CFDA 23.011). The award, with a performance period from January 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, will fund research and evaluation activities to expand knowledge of the Appalachian region and support ARC's strategic objectives. The award aligns with the program's goals of supporting workforce development, community infrastructure, health promotion, business technical assistance, and research and evaluation across the 13 Appalachian states.
