The Hawaii Department of Health will receive $200,000 under a Project Grant from the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Administration and Resource Management Funding Office through the Environmental Information Exchange Network Grant Program and Related Assistance (CFDA 66.608). The Department will centralize environmental health information to allow staff to connect cross-program complaint, investigation, violation, enforcement, and incident data for improved compliance, enforcement, and emergency response support. Key deliverables include centralized access and search services for complaint, enforcement, and Navy drinking water incident sample data. The Department will also provide geospatial visualization of this sensitive data and secure role-based user interfaces. Centralizing this information aims to give staff real-time visibility of cross-program data to support evidence-based decision making and emergency responses. No subawards are included in the assistance agreement.
