Emergency award to support humanitarian coordination and information management activities in northeast nigeria

This $900,000 USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas (CFDA 98.001) Project Grant award to Stichting International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO), a non-profit organization, supports critical humanitarian coordination and information management activities in Northeast Nigeria. The funding will enable INSO to provide essential safety coordination, information sharing, and capacity building services to humanitarian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in this high-risk environment. This includes delivering security cooperation, training, and support services to mitigate risks to staff safety, operations, and improve access to beneficiaries. INSO has substantial experience as a prime and sub-awardee under this USAID grant program, enhancing humanitarian effectiveness in conflict-affected regions across Africa by establishing coordination hubs, providing analytical support, staff security training, and real-time information sharing to NGO partners.
