The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provided a $82,591,316 Project Grant award to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority on April 12, 2024 to expand the existing Terminal C apron by an additional 138,481 square yards. This grant, funded through the FAA's Airport Improvement Program (CFDA 20.106), will enable the aviation authority to accommodate increased usage of the Terminal C facilities at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida. The project aims to enhance airport infrastructure and operational capacity to support the growing air transportation needs of the Orlando region.
