PURPOSE: TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING, ANNOUNCED UNDER UIPL NO. 17-24 SECTION 4.A., FOR CONTINUED ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS, INCLUDING ONGOING SYSTEMS, OPERATIONAL, AND AUDIT RELATED COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PANDEMIC UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE (PUA) PROGRAM AS AUTHORIZED BY THE CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY (CARES) ACT (PUBLIC LAW 116-136) AS AMENDED. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED: THE PUA UI GRANT UNDER UIPL NO. 17-24 SECTION 4.A. PROVIDES STATES WITH ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO SUPPORT THE CONTINUING ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS OF THE PUA PROGRAM. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO ONGOING PUA PROGRAM INTEGRITY EFFORTS, DATA INTEGRITY AND RETENTION, AND STATE EFFORTS TO RESPOND AND RESOLVE ISSUES FROM PUA PROGRAM AUDIT ACTIVITIES.
