This $100,000 Project Grant from the National Science Foundation's Computer and Information Science and Engineering program will support student travel to two 2022 USENIX conferences. Specifically, the grant will fund approximately 20 students to attend the 18th Symposium on Usable Privacy and Security (SOUPS '22) and 20 students to attend the 31st USENIX Security Symposium (Security '22). These conferences bring together academic, government, and industry researchers to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and address shared challenges in critical areas of advanced computing including systems security, privacy, networking and more. By enabling student participation, this award furthers the impact of research presented and encourages junior researchers nationwide to engage in important topics addressed at the conferences. It will also support students attending the hybrid conference events in-person. The Usenix Association will deliver the student travel supported by this Project Grant award between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022.
