Subawards of $250,000 each will be provided to Georgia Tech Research Corporation and Washington State University to conduct related work in social misinformation detection techniques, data collection, and predictive modeling of user exposure to misinformation. Deliverables will include an interactive fact-checking system, open-source code and databases, evidence-based public health and electoral messages, and academic papers. The goal is to empower professional fact-checkers through technological and evidence-based approaches.
