OUR EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAM WAS DEVELOPED IN NEW YORK CITY AS A DEMONSTRATION PROJECT OF THE VERA INSTITUTE OF JUSTICE IN THE 1970S. CEO WAS INCORPORATED AS AN INDEPENDENT NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION SERVING NYC IN 1996 AND IN 2009 BEGAN AN EXPANSION EFFORT TO NEW HIGH-NEED JURISDICTIONS. TODAY, CEO IS THE NATION?S LEADING REENTRY EMPLOYMENT PROVIDER, SERVING ROUGHLY 8,000 PEOPLE PER YEAR ACROSS 28 PROGRAM SITES IN TEN STATES.
