Description

The proposed vista project aligns with the education and economic opportunity focus area. The vista project will seek to (1) strengthen the network of partnering agencies for community workforce development and / or early literacy programming, (2) build a data driven plan of outreach that connects residents to network community resources, (3) build an inter-agency referral process that allows participating agencies to move collectively towards a systems-building approach for addressing disparities, (4) improve the overall system of community collaboration and resource delivery, and (5) advocate for the community employment pipeline and the community solutions action plan. This initiative expects to benefit an estimated 27,634 of beneficiaries, including low-income residents in the 5 poverty census tracts that make up west greenville and children throughout pitt county, age 0 - 5. 8 vista members will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as partnership development, outreach and volunteer coordination, and data collection for program management and inter-agency collaborations over the course of 5 years.
