The Henry M. Jackson Foundation For The Advancement Of Military Medicine, Inc. will receive $4.5 million through June 2025 from the National Endowment for the Arts under the Promotion of the Arts Grants to Organizations and Individuals program (CFDA 45.024). The Foundation will support the utilization of arts in healthcare settings and promote best practices in arts health and well-being across Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs clinical sites under the Creative Forces initiative. This funding will help expand access to arts programs shown to benefit military service members, veterans, and their families coping with traumatic brain injury, psychological health conditions, and other challenges. The two-year project aligns with the grant program's goals of integrating arts strategies to promote well-being and building infrastructure in the arts sector.
