Description

As the agency reported it.

Its vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. The proposed vista project aligns with the cncs focus area of economic opportunity. The vista project will seek to create a more efficient and sustainable organization and build its capacity so that IT can effectively address the need for affordable housing throughout puerto rico. We expect to benefit low-income individuals, communities, non-profit organizations and municipalities through partnerships. The four (including one under disaster) vista members will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as: community and organizational assessment, material development, outreach, measurement, program development and delivery, financial resources, volunteer recruitment and management system, workforce development, among other tasks throughout the year of service. Habitat for humanity requests an additional vista for disaster services including long-term disaster recovery, projects that focus on providing housing, promoting restoration, and supporting initiatives that address the long-term needs of affected, low-income populations.
