Description
The saje policing assessment is a comprehensive tool used to define and measure the characteristics of a sound, accountable, just, and effective policing agency. The tool helps agencies prioritize areas of improvement and celebrate areas of success. As the wcso is the first sheriffs department to use the tool, this project will assist in the development of detention metrics. The project will also provide assessment, training, and technical assistance from the new york university (NYU) policing project.
