About this award

The Connecticut Department of Public Health received a $109,963 Project Grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 1 under the Toxic Substances Compliance Monitoring Cooperative Agreements program (CFDA 66.701) for the period October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026. The grant supports the department's asbestos compliance monitoring program designed to prevent and eliminate unreasonable health and environmental risks in Connecticut communities. The program also supports enforcement activities for asbestos waiver state programs and encourages regulatory capacity-building within Connecticut communities to establish their own asbestos monitoring programs. No subawards are included in this assistance agreement.
