Description
The abundant high-energy light in space (with wavelengths as low as 190 NM compared to 300 NM on earth) is an ideal energy source for titanium dioxide (TIO2)- photocatalyzed conversion of CO2 to generate O2. This high energy source available in space allows the O2 production to proceed without consuming any thermal or electrical energy a drastic reduction in reactor mass volume and power consumption.
