The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction - Division for Libraries and Technology was awarded a $4,924,742.42 Formula Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the Grants to States program (CFDA 45.310) for the period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2024. Funds will support goals outlined in the state's five-year plan to align with the purposes of the Library Services and Technology Act, including ensuring Wisconsin residents have access to library resources, tools and spaces to support learning and exploration. Funding will also equip library staff and cultivate partnerships to engage communities and address equity challenges. Relevant sub-awards were provided to ten regional public library systems across Wisconsin to deliver library programs and services supported by the federal funding.
