About this award

The U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service awarded a $1,466,759.54 Formula Grant under the Sport Fish Restoration program (CFDA 15.605) to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) on December 1, 2024. The purpose of this grant is to develop two ADA-compliant boating access facilities and increase recreational boating opportunities at Bixhoma Lake in Oklahoma. The grant will also benefit local economies by attracting boaters and paddlers who will increase sales of gasoline, food, equipment, supplies, and lodging.
