About this award

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) awarded the City of Norwalk $6.77 million on August 18, 2025, under the Federal Transit Formula Grants program (CFDA 20.507) to support capital improvements and operational enhancements for the Norwalk Transit System (NTS). These investments will enable NTS to maintain its fleet in a state of good repair while modernizing transit infrastructure serving approximately 1.2 million patrons across Norwalk and surrounding Gateway Cities in Los Angeles County, California.
