The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a $11,256,300 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CFDA 66.458) formula grant to the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) on July 1, 2023. The purpose of this multi-year grant is to provide low-interest financing for the planning, design, and construction of eligible water quality improvement and protection projects across the state. The funding will capitalize NDEP's CWSRF program, enabling it to establish and maintain a self-sustaining revolving fund that will improve and protect water quality and public health for Nevada citizens. NDEP partners with local agencies, public water systems, and other stakeholders as sub-recipients to implement grant-funded initiatives, such as a $2.4 million sub-award to the Incline Village General Improvement District for pipeline replacement and wastewater infrastructure upgrades.
