About this award

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded the State of Delaware Department of Safety & Homeland Security $270,268.39 on October 1, 2025, under the Section 405(G) Nonmotorized Safety Grant program (CFDA 20.616, National Priority Safety Programs).

The award carries a period of performance from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2029, with place of performance in Leipsic, Delaware. Funds are apportioned using the statutory apportionment formula and provided to the State and Territorial Highway Safety Office based on the approved plans, which detail problem identification, public participation and engagement, performance measures, and countermeasure strategies for programming funds.
