The U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration has awarded a $5,071,529 Formula Grant under the Employment Service/Wagner-Peyser Funded Activities program (CFDA 17.207) to Job Service North Dakota. The purpose of this grant is to provide universal access to a range of employment services, including job search assistance, career counseling, skills assessments, job referrals, and labor market information, to connect job seekers with employers. The grant will fund the delivery of these comprehensive workforce development services through the American Job Center network in North Dakota over the performance period of July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2027. As a sub-awardee, Job Service North Dakota may also conduct labor market research and provide targeted employment services to specific populations.
