The grant will support NDEE's implementation of its Nonpoint Source Management Program focusing on watersheds impaired by nonpoint source pollution. Key deliverables will include final project reports, program annual reports, grant performance reports, load reduction data, management plans, and watershed-based plans. Activities to be funded include technical assistance, education, training, demonstration projects, and water quality monitoring to implement specific nonpoint source pollution prevention projects. NDEE will provide subawards to the Lower Loup Natural Resources District, Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, and Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District to undertake projects focused on the Clear Creek-Pibel Lake watershed, the Waverly wellhead protection area, and the Papillion Creek enhanced water quality practices program respectively.
