The Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs awarded a $2,103,742 cooperative agreement to American Councils For International Education: Actr / Accels, Inc. to support EducationUSA advising services in 12 countries from December 2021 through September 2024. Under the Academic Exchange Programs - Educational Advising and Student Services (CFDA 19.432) federal grant program, the awardee and sub-awardee Foundation Center For International Education will provide advising and student support services to international students interested in studying in the United States. Specifically, the awardee will fund EducationUSA advising centers in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine to provide students in those countries with information and guidance on U.S. higher education opportunities and the application process.
