Description
Clean water will be recovered from the waste stream using FO, resulting in concentrated wastewater and diluted seawater. The concentrated wastewater will be used to fuel mdcs to complete the desalination of the diluted seawater. The energy recovered by the mdcs will be applied back to the EFO membrane to simultaneously mitigate fouling and enhance water recovery.
