About this award

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration awarded a $100,000 cooperative agreement to The Marine Mammal Center under the NOAA Mission-Related Education Awards program to build national capacity for evidence-based climate communication. The Marine Mammal Center will work with the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation, Knology, and the Frameworks Institute to develop innovative training programs and a community of practice engaging educators, scientists, community activists, and communities of color.
