About this award

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) awarded a $872,887.50 Cooperative Agreement to the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) on September 1, 2024 under the Wildlife Resource Management program (CFDA 15.247). The purpose of this agreement is to assist BLM and partners within the Hi-Line Sagebrush Anchor Restoration Landscape to restore up to 50 miles of riverscape. This includes completing project designs, assisting with monitoring needs, coordinating direct implementation, and providing trainings relevant to riverscape health principles. The project will benefit BLM-administered resources while leveraging additional funding sources to scale the work on adjacent lands in close coordination with partners such as The Nature Conservancy, Ranchers Stewardship Alliance, Pheasants Forever, and the Smithsonian Institution.
