Description

This is done by limbing up mature trees and removing some juvenile trees. Also the brush would be removed. This will reduce the ladder fuels which would allow fire to get into canopies and spread. This would also give firefighters a line to back burn from if needed. All of this work would be done with saw crews on foot due to terrain, causing little to no impact on the land. The limbs and juvenile trees removed will be chipped and hauled away or left in place for bedding.
