The work being done through this agreement will build on the saginaw river and BAY settlement for natural resource damages by continuing to improve habitats in thevicinity of the saganing river property that was acquired by the saginaw chippewa indian tribe of michigan as apart of that settlement. The trustees will initially fund the implementation phase of the project (years onethrough three), including augmenting the capacity of the saginaw basin land conservancy by supporting thepurchase of a skid steer equipped with land management attachments, with requested additional funding segments to complete work under this award (through 2027).
