About this award

The Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) awarded a $3.7 million cooperative agreement to the New York Department of Labor for workplace safety and health consultation services from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.

Under the agreement, the New York Department of Labor will provide consultative workplace safety and health services to smaller employers through the federal Consultation Agreements program (CFDA 17.504). The services target employers with more hazardous operations and aim to fund consultations to help identify and correct potential safety and health issues. As the prime recipient, the New York Department of Labor will oversee service delivery, with the New York State government serving as the parent organization.
