About this award

The Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) awarded a $170,195 cooperative agreement to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to support Animal Disease Traceability (ADT) activities from April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022.

Under the agreement, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will provide technical services to support APHIS' ADT program goals. The ADT program, part of APHIS' Plant and Animal Disease, Pest Control, and Animal Care grant program (CFDA 10.025), works to quickly trace animal movements in the event of disease outbreaks. The services funded through this cooperative agreement will help APHIS and its state partners effectively trace animal movements and protect U.S. agriculture from economically damaging animal diseases.
