The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded a 5-year, $1,064,380 Cooperative Agreement to Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas (CFDA 98.001) grant program. The purpose of this award is to strengthen the measurement and assessment of the impact of youth and countering violent extremism programs and interventions in Morocco. Through this project, EDC will partner with Moroccan stakeholders to build local monitoring and data systems, support robust research and evaluation methodologies, and provide data-driven evidence to improve program design, implementation, and decision-making. EDC will also work closely with the implementer of USAID/Morocco's follow-on countering violent extremism program, Forsaty, to ensure alignment and integrated learning.
