About this award

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded a $1.5 billion cooperative agreement to the International Bank For Reconstruction And Development (IBRD) under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas program (CFDA 98.001). The agreement will continue existing USAID programs in Ukraine that the Ukrainian government cannot currently fund through June 2023. The USAID Foreign Assistance program aims to promote long-term economic growth and advance US foreign policy goals in areas such as economic development, global health, and democracy/conflict prevention. Under this cooperative agreement, IBRD will deliver products and services to support these objectives in Ukraine until the recipient government is able to resume funding of the programs independently.
