Description

The funds will be used for reimbursement for critical electrical and non-electrical component repairs, replacements, and upgrades to its wastewater system. Farmington utilizes several sewer system pumpstations and lift stations to provide sanitation needs for its residents. Over time, the electrical components for these pumpstations needed to be repaired or in some cases replaced as they were no longer being manufactured. Also, the town converted its lift station from single-phase to three-phase power to reduce the need for expensive motors and achieve smoother motor operation. This project is located in the tuscumbia river canal watershed and its hydrologic unit code is 080102.
