The award will also fund projects to address phosphorus loading through best management practice implementation, wastewater treatment facility asset management planning, enhanced agricultural practice implementation, and the planning, design, and construction of stormwater infrastructure at public schools and Vermont State Colleges in the Lake Champlain Basin. Sub-awards will be provided to Vermont municipalities, the Green Schools Program, and other entities to support these water quality improvement and ecological restoration initiatives.
