The award funds eight projects: four research projects, one education and outreach project, two marketing projects, and one project crossing multiple focus areas.
Performance runs through September 29, 2028, with all work occurring in New York. The assistance type is a block grant. Under the program structure, the state department of agriculture passes funds through sub-awards to recipient organizations that deliver the underlying projects and activities.
