About this award

This firm-fixed-price purchase order was awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District to Bayer Construction Company, Inc., a small business prime contractor, for the delivery and placement of approximately 1,725 tons of road rock to three locations at Tuttle Creek Lake in Manhattan, Kansas. The contract has a ceiling value of $22,230 and a completion date of December 31, 2009. The road rock is specified to be a durable limestone or sandstone material, used for erosion control, access road repairs, and stockpile replenishment at Tuttle Creek. This contract appears to be a standalone award and not part of a larger indefinite-delivery vehicle. However, the award information indicates that Bayer Construction Company holds active contracts with the Army Corps of Engineers and Army Installation Management Command to provide aggregate materials for infrastructure projects in the region.
